Expeditions that are challenging, yet safe and supportive
Welcome to the Venture Force parents’ page! Hopefully, you will have already had some information from your child’s school and be as excited as we are about the expedition to come. We have been working together with at least one of the teachers at school to plan an expedition that focuses on student development and enhances learning potential.
We aim to deliver an expedition that is not only safe but really pushes students to discover themselves and their true potential: expanding their confidence, resilience, teamwork/communication, management skills, and empathy for others.
Your child’s school has chosen to work with Venture Force because of our experience, excellent safety management practices, and focus on advancing student skills. The school and governors will have carried out their ‘due diligence’ and consider us safe and able to deliver a development expedition that suits their needs. Their due diligence will have revealed that Venture Force:
- have been delivering school and adult expeditions for over 10 years
- are fully accredited and inspected by the Expedition Providers Association (please check their website)
- are holders of the Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge
- are inspected and licenced by the Adventurous Activities Licensing Authority
- are ATOL bonded
- are fully insured and provide comprehensive medical and repatriation insurance
- provide 2 fully qualified and experienced expedition leaders on every expedition + 2 teachers providing pastoral care and augmenting the leadership team
- overseas expeditions are supported by 'Remote Medical Services'
- expeditions are supported by our 24hr Emergency Operations Room, to support our teams who are supplied with a comprehensive communications package
