Laurence (Tom) Tuckwood, Director and Trek leader

Tom's experience stems from 24 years police service in both London and Scotland dealing with incidents, accidents and people everyday of his service. Within the Police he served as a member of the Grampian Police and Braemar Mountain rescue teams taking part, leading, or managing in excess of 250 rescue incidents.

After leaving the UK police he became a mentor to the 'Iraqi National Police (INP)' and 'Iraq Police service (IPS)' within Iraq, notably project managing the Police Joint Operation Control Centre in Maysan province and the 'Ring of Steel' checkpoint facility in Basrah city.

After his sojourn to the Middle East he has continued within the outdoor industry leading numerous overseas expeditions. As a freelance expedition leader and first aid provider he, strives to pass on his skills and experience enabling others to feel confidence and competence in dealing with first aid and emergency incidents in the outdoor arena.

MLTB - Summer Mountain Leader, MLTB - Winter Mountain Leader. PADI - Diving Instructor. HSE First Aid Instructor. Search and Rescue Major Incident Manager. Expedition Leader to Morocco, Tanzania, Madagascar, Borneo, Siberia, India and Ecuador.
