Even those with limited outdoor experience can accomplish this trek and believe us it is definitely worth the effort. Not just the effort of trekking but also the effort of actually travelling to the region itself. You will be rewarded by some glorious trekking.
We will approach the region from the north by means of an internal flight from Moscow to Barnaul where we will stay overnight in a hotel before heading south on a lengthy but interesting bus journey provided by the In-country agent.
The team will rest and relax at Vysotnik the trek in preparation for the efforts and rewards to come. Our expedition team will be supported by horses a local guide and will be accompanied by well qualified and experienced European leaders/guides.
For something totally unique Venture Force utilise a traditional method of transport to magic the team from Vysotnik base camp to the start point of the trek. Rafting 10 miles of the mighty Katun River enables us to experience peace and solitude through some remarkable countryside before a riverside picnic and the start of the trek.
The campsites along the route are something to behold.
