The Fish River Canyon is a popular route and for good reason as it follows the track of the river itself through deep canyons. Tradition and myth recognises that this stunning two tiered canyon was formed by a snake desperately trying to escape its capture by hunters, but however it was formed the huge canyon affords the perfect backdrop for this committing but rewarding trek. The trek offers the chance to camp on the sandy banks of the river, relax and soak those aching limbs in the Palm Springs and view its unique rock formation and wildlife.
