Trekking Everest Base Camp
Everest Base Camp Expedition, Nepal
Follow in the foosteps of some of the world's greatest mountaineers!
Travel to Nepal, a diverse, enchanting country and trek to the iconic Everest Base Camp using a less travelled route. You’ll experience the extremes of Kathmandu’s hustle and bustle, and the silence, splendour and magnitude of the Himalayas. Create memories that will last a lifetime.
The team will fly into Kathmandu and spend a day there, preparing and receiving trek briefs, before taking the short flight to Lukla, home of one of the most famous airports in the world. Here you’ll meet your support team and begin the trek. Over the next 15 days you’ll trek through forest covered valleys, cross fast flowing rivers using breathtaking suspension bridges, visit Namche Bazaar and Tengboche Monastery, and eventually rise above the treeline into a glacial lunar landscape. All the while surrounded by high Himalayan peaks.
Our route takes us up the secluded Gokyo Valley and over the Cho La Pass, providing an excellent ascent profile and improving acclimatisation. On completion of the trek you’ll return to Kathmandu and have the opportunity to visit UNESCO World Heritage sites including Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambunath (The Monkey Temple) and Pashuputinath, an important religious site.
As never before, it’s time to break from normal life and take on an adventure of a lifetime. Look forward with excited anticipation to travelling with us to a fascinating new destination, joining a team of like-minded people, and pitting yourself against the elements. Our treks, although designed to be challenging, are achievable. You’ll experience invigorating exercise, good food, excellent company, breath-taking scenery, and fresh air.

Embrace the challenge and remember the unique experience!
This trek is in a very remote area with no vehicular access at all. You’ll need to be physically fit and capable of walking for between 4 and 8 hours a day carrying a 5-8kg rucksack. We provide advice on training to get yourself expedition fit.
You’ll be accommodated in tea houses along the route, which are basic but perfectly adequate and all meals will be included. There will be limited access to electricity for charging devices so be prepared.
Please be aware that as this is an expedition in a remote environment, itinerary changes may occur however, Venture Force will keep these to an absolute minimum.
