RATING
We’d want to make it clear to everyone scanning our list of expeditions and training courses of the levels of fitness and skills that they should possess to reduce the chances of disappointment and frustration. You’re supposed to enjoy the experience and learn from your adventure.
Our expeditions and courses are rated on a 1 to 5 basis. One to five footprints!
1 – Basic
Appropriate for all levels of experience and fitness.
2 – Easy
Appropriate for those with a reasonable level of fitness and some knowledge of the subject area.
3 – Hard
Appropriate for those with an average level of fitness willing to push themselves. Clients will be expected to spend at least 6hrs each day engaged in the chosen activity and exposed to the prevailing weather conditions throughout.
4 – Harder
Appropriate to those with a better than average level of fitness. Clients will be expected to spend at least 8 hrs a day engaged in the chosen activity whilst exposed to the prevailing weather conditions throughout and be self sufficient in most areas.
5 – Tough
Only advisable to those with a good level of fitness and a good level of experience in the expedition/skills area. Clients will be expected to spend at least 8+ hrs a day engaged in the chosen activity whilst exposed to the prevailing weather conditions throughout and be self sufficient in all areas.
