Venture Force mountain skills courses will be run within the beautiful but wild Cairngorm Mountains in Grampian region. With access to some of the highest and most remote locations in Britain it is ideal for delivering the skills that we wish to pass onto you. During the winter period the Cairngorms provide snow cover for a longer period than most other mountainous regions of Scotland.

Set amongst some of the most beautiful but challenging mountains in the UK our course will make the most of the prevailing weather conditions aiming to give you the necessary skills to look after yourselves and others. If you wish to progress into the domain of the mountain leader (UKMLTB) then it will furnish you with a firm grounding on which to enter the award scheme. Even though this course is suitable for complete beginners, it will be run in all but the most hazardous of weather conditions making best use of appropriate safety procedures and environmental cover. The course will cover all aspects of the current UK Mountain leader training syllabus.
